Waiting on the Lord is sometimes hard to do.

Gustav diaries still aren't finished.. I haven't had time. But here is something that struck me yesterday that I wanted to share:  Psalm 27:13-14 (New International Version) 

 13 I am still confident of this: 
       I will see the goodness of the LORD 
       in the land of the living.

 14 Wait for the LORD; 
       be strong and take heart 
       and wait for the LORD.

-"In the land of the living." Now, does that mean here, on earth, if we tap into His peace that we will "see" (I don't know if this means physically, spiritually, etc.) His goodness, or is that phrase referring to heaven? I mean, we are only truly alive when we accept Christ in our heart, before that we are dead. So I don't know. I was just thinking about it for a while yesterday. 

I also really like that in that verse "wait for the Lord," is repeated. It's sometimes really hard to remember that God's timing is different from ours.

I hope everyone is safe after Gustav. We are all safe, and finally got our power back Tuesday night. But, I won't say much more because my personal Gustav diaries are coming shortly. Lame, right? I know.
